Shell V Power SEFAC
Experience Day, the largest gathering of Ferrari supercars from Maranello in
the Southern Hemisphere, will be held on 23 September at the Kyalami Grand Prix
Circuit north of Johannesburg.
Organised by the
Southern Equitorial Ferrari Automobili Club (SEFAC), the annual Kyalami event
is the one occasion when members of the world's oldest Ferrari Owners' Club
have unrivalled access to the challenging 4.522km circuit.
"Ferrari Day
at Kyalami is quite possibly South African motoring's best kept secret: a
festival of speed and sound when 220 of Maranello's finest automotive creations
descend on the legendary grand prix circuit. Great cars already confirmed for
the day include the all-new 488 GTB, a unique 250 GT race car from the sixties
and the legendary F40."
More than 5 000
spectators are anticipated and the organisers recommend getting to the circuit
early. Gates open at 8am. General admission is R60, children under 12 are free.

Spectator
ticket holders will be able to view the track from all areas.
Primary
spectator areas will be based at the Main Grandstand, Crowthorne &
Clubhouse corners where catering and ablution services will be provided.
No
unauthorized person is allowed in the pit lane for security and safety
purposes.
Spectators will have limited access to the pit area with access via the
pedestrian bridge over the main straight.
